He scored like 430 runs in 2 tests in Australia scoring 3 centuries. Sarfraz has come through ranks. HIgh school/under19/State etc.

Unadkut seems to be taking Thakur's place in the team. It seems more a lifetime achievement award to include him in the test squads right now since he has performed for a long time in domestic cricket. Not unlike how we gave Dinda and Vinay Kumar India caps a decade ago.

Current team of oldies will get wrecked in Australia. Both bowling & batting needs fresh blood.

Beats me The article they had said something about the value that Chahal currently adds - almost equating him with what Kuldeep brings. Who are these writers? I understand the need for a wristie who turns it away from the RHBs, but pick someone who is actually going to bowl well. If there is no one on the radar, just pick the best available guy - and that is Kuldeep Yadav. Chahal has had his days but, as of now, he is not it. vvvslaxman 1
