NZ countered him with an off spinner. So that advantage is gone right away. Then power hitting has become seconardy for Kishan. He just wants to protect his wicket. So he plays very meekly.

No big worries as such . Part of evolution. Batters go through that . Play domestic and work on to improve

1. game against spin which has dipped a bit though he is a good player of spin.

2. try to get singles / 2s against spin rather than dot dot dot ... six ... dot  pattern 

3. Improve against seaming deliveries & rising deliveries around off stump

His dismissals are more like test matches than T20s. He is getting out defending. Everybody except him knows that's not ideal for him. His game has not dipped, he is giving bowlers a chance against his obvious weaknesses.
