Ashwin is equally good with the bat if not better than Thakur and a much better bowler. Most importantly he has had a wood over Steve Smith and not to mention all their lefties.

Take Hardick in squad. based on pitch u sekect your 11. 3 pacers , two spinners most imp . on current batting form , jadeja gets in as no 5 batter alone

Ashwin is not a bad option if it is a typical flat oval pitch. Imo Force Pandya to play in this one off final... Fourth seamer doesn't bowls more than 10-12 over in a inns. He offers amazing depth with the bat @Lord KL/Gill Rohit Pujara (sadly) Kohli Iyer Jadeja Pandya Bharat Shami Siraj Bumrah This is a potential winning XI.

Jaddu warrants a place as batsman alone.. WTC final(although joke tournament) is important for this players. Imagine KLR playing in final while Jaddu/Ashwin sitting out while they are one of the main reason why team is in final. Condition,match ups kind of tuchiyapa should be set aside in these scenario. Bumrah coming in straight away is also a big disrespect to Siraj, but it is still understandable given Bumrah's reputation.
