zen Posted April 1, 2023 Share Posted April 1, 2023 Both the losing teams today got their strategies and tactics wrong (in some cases due to unavailability of certain players): KKR - almost looked like a hopeless batting order. Could have used Jadeeshesan, who is said to be in form. The arrival of Littan Das, Sakib, and Lockie could help. Russell has to bat where he walks in when a wicket falls around the 10th over. DC - Difficult to hide likes of Khaleel, Shaw, Kuldeep, Sarfaraz (wk), etc. in the field. Needs Nortje but that could create issues with the 4 OS batsmen. If Warner is scratchy, it is difficult to bench him as the captain. Most of popular teams of the past decade have lost steam, and could turn out to be the new bottom 5 of this decade.
