Reverse BazBall is working....  Only our deluded fans & ex players believe that attacking play has no place in Test cricket.

Players like Gujara were a curse to our Test side for last 4 years or so..

this is proper positive test cricket. No scoops, reverse scoops, slogs, cross batted hoicks stupidity.

Does Joss Tongue remind anyone of a young Bhuvneshwar Kumar? I find an uncanny resemblance, just that Joss Tongue is slightly taller.

It did work for Pant who played the major role in 2021 series win with that style of cricket.

its about playing natural game. Smith and Labushane batted and 55 and 50 SR only. Warner aggressive batter batted at 75, Head who always plays aggressively batted at 100+.  Pant is an unorthodox batsman as well. Taking risk comes naturally to him, scoring is his first instinct, defense second. Expecting Pujara and Kohli to bat in Pant style is futile. They are not that type of batsmen. Pujara's first instinct is defense, scoring second.

Kohli was also aggressive. He is one guy who never changed his approach. Even in T20 he plays the same way. I don't recall Pujara playing deliberately in that style. From time to time he scores quickly in between. Then he goes back to blocking.I don't think India involved in bazballing. May be Rohit tried. Bu tthat guy is only good for 30 or 40 even with proper cricket.
