That's more to do with our mediocre batting than moeens actual ability to bowl. This is something zen isn't understanding. If moeen bowled to root on the same pitch and other English batsmen in England he would struggle badly. 

 

Our old farts can't play for crap barring pant, sundar and perhaps iyer (only vs spin)

Actually Mitch Marsh's defense has been fairly decent. This is something SKY could never do. He has never exhibited defense like this. One reason Viru despite being adventurous had a great career because he had such a confident defense.
