Number Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Bairstow is counted among top WK bats in the world but he is so overrated. The guy plays one good bazball knock here and there and goes missing more often than not. 12 100s in 92 test matches and an average of 36 which is only going down.

You need to bat time and fatigue opponents. We dint do that. Only survived for 50 overs and scored not much barring that last eng test where we were rusty after IPL Batting was entirely ar fault. Give india Smith and see what happens.

What did brook do in the last 2 tests. Almost out again lol. What a tulla.

I don't think Pant would have made any difference. When bowlers leaked 470, match was effectively over. Pant is great for a WK batsman but he cannot be your best batsman in the team. Your team will go nowhere if that is the case. Pant did play in last finals.
