Looks too high.  But that was a peach that was expecting. Stokes does this time and again. Bowls dibbly dobbly stuffs. Suddenly brings one back in.

Common , how can that ball hit the stumps, umpire's call I can understand but 3 reds is bit too much.

Smith was inside the crease i think.

It starts with collective motivation to do well in Tests. They often say lack of IPL helped them. PUjara also did not play IPL. What did he do?

lack of IPL helped joe root. he learnt all about dancing from chahal

Exactly why unadkutta would have been useful in the wtc final. Height. Indians are lacking height ever since ishant retired or was made to retire. We have everything else covered but you need variation to be a complete attack. With bumrah shami and ishant it was a dangerous trio. Hence we were lethal. Shami now is old. Ishant retired. We have some very talented youngsters Like tyagi and Sen. Need fresh kegs now. I would say pace bowlers should be shafted every 5-7 years unless they are exceptionally fit.

They have 4 medium height bowlers none of them could traditionally swing except Thakur.

More than their bazball batting, their strategy is what always impresses me. This pitchis still good to bat on.

Bazball is not about hacking and slashing. McCullum, both as batter and capn, was quite sound strategically and tactically. add to that Eng's high-quality data analysts, said to be the best ever in cricket.

England has resources/strategies/tactics to nail him early.

they should either bounce head or bowl wide, dry runs up, and he will get out.

Like thakor.

Passionate captain. Plays with his heart on his sleeves.

We made very poor selection calls for wtc final.

Wow stokes trundling at 125 -130.

What a fantastic ball. Waatch this Indians? You got more pace. You don't really have the skill of these bowlers.

they are rather lacking in brains, especially Umesh
