They were analyzing how Crawley became a better and more relaxed batsman.  He used to hold his bat rigidly. Stokes advice to all his players to hold the bat in a relaxed manner. Loose grip. Twirling the bat from time to time apparently helps it seems.  Jo Root does it. As per Nasser Root picked up this twirling habit from Kane williamson. Also when you are about to reecive the ball keep the hands relaxed with loose grip.  Probably someone like  Gill can learn from it.

I don't think Marnus is not out of form.This is his real batting talent.Smith is showing once he loses a bit his reflexes he is very much mortal batsmen.

 

Khawaja was set he threw his wicket away.So did Smith.They needed a big 100 from one of them.

He has 3000 runs and 200 plus wickets in 67 tests that too playing majority in England. How is that mediocre.
