Actually Austrlaia got luck with Bairstow's keeping Otherwise they would have been deep trouble. He dropped Khawaja, dropped Carey, He missed an easy stumping of Green. Then Broad with customary no ball wicket by a fraction of an inch.  I sitll don't think Australia in driver's seat. Some of the balls turned viscioiusly. Edgbaston wicket offers turn to spinners.  If England puts up 400 quickly they will be back.

In entire country we could find only KS BHarat as replacement for Pant. Look how valuable Carey is for them. He thrashed our bowlers.

They are still trailing. I don't think India won any session after first session on day 1. We were always behind after that.

We don't have enough talents in the country. Batting wise
