LordPrabhzy Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 Eng women also lose the Ashes test Good thing women dont have more than 1 test series- they will get their arses handed to them by this superior Aussie team

rollingstoned Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 I thought it might be close going into the final day coz England dismissed them for only 260 odd ans theu started the last innings well. But the pitch took spin in the last 2 days and Gardner cleaned up the way Ecclestone also did.

Nikola Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 England Men's XI for 2nd Test (Lords) Announced 1. Ben Duckett 2. Zak Crawley 3. Ollie Pope 4. Joe Root 5. Harry Brook 6. Ben Stokes * 7. Jonathan Bairstow + 8. Stuart Broad 9. Ollie Robinson 10. Josh Tongue 11. James Anderson
vvvslaxman Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 So Bairstow still keeps lol For all his heroics with bat at the start of bazball lost a Test with his keeping.

Stone to eventually replace the old people. Possible chance for Mark wood.
Nikola Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 (edited) England wins toss & choose to bowl first. Overcast conditions and green pitch. Under 100 collapse coming i assume for Australia. Starc back for boland which i think is wrong call for this pitch and conditions. I am backing england to win this match. Edited June 28, 2023 by Nikola
nitinbwj Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Aus doing well so far. Khwaja battling away. No wickets lost so far. Anderson back with his good buddy cloud.
vvvslaxman Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Finally they have identified Khawaja is vulnerable when right hander comes over the wicket. But Siraj was superior in terms of that line against Khawaja. Lack of pace from Robinson allows him to make late adjustment.
vvvslaxman Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Zaheer khan would have devoured Khawaja left/right center. His feet is basically stuck on the crease. Jimmy is bowling that channel better.
vvvslaxman Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 I will be surprised if Jimmy doesn't nail one or two here. Things are happening for him
vvvslaxman Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 That chance was tough for Root. But Bairstow did a Dhoni lol Pretended it was not his chance.
vvvslaxman Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 "He is bowling at 78 mph. Can you blame Warner wanting to whack it" - KP on Robinson's trundling and after Warner literally swept him like a spinner for 4.
vvvslaxman Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Anderson bowling at 80 mph. If Broad doesn't click they are toast.
vvvslaxman Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Skill of Broad Scrambled seam , ball decks away sharply after pitching.
vvvslaxman Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Good helpful conditions. England is yet to make inroads. But at this pace it is very hard.
vvvslaxman Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Broad bowled a great spell. But Pope shelled a regulation slip catch of Warner. Jaffa of a delivery.
