 For all the skills of Rahane against pace he had a distinctly average career. Same with KL. If he is good enough he will find a way. If there is a 5% chance that he can replicate the success at the highest level you take it. If he fails move on. This reject ion based on eye test can be misleading. Head looks all at sea against short ball..his innings at the Gabba vs SA played a major role in their win.

 

So was Vinay kumar playing for some other Ranji trophy team in another country. He led his team to Ranji titles back to back and won all other domestic tournaments by taking most wickets and being a bowling  allrounder.

 

Sarfraz's  career is not over yet, let us hope he gets to prove everyone who doubted him wrong.

 

If not for his knees Pujara would have done lot better in his career.No one said Rahane had a great career.

Don't think Yudhvir is 50 over type. Maybe A T20 specialist with 4 over heavy ball burst and useful cameo down the order.

But its good for his development and we desperately need such multi faceted cricketers in Indian T20 setup.

 

Fed up of all these specialists one dimensional batsman and bowlers hogging up all important spots.

Yudhvir can be handy on SENA grounds, he has pace and bowls heavy ball. Plus looks like a powerful hitter with strong base...Hangargekar offers similar skillset.

 

They both can play interchangeably as a backup to each other on rotation basis...

We won't know until we see it...  He is getting wasted for JK already. 

Deodhar trophy will be telecasted by BCCI so we can gauge how he will go. 

Has a high arm action & bowls 140k+..
