He is playing for premiere Ranji team. If puara with that clownish technique against bouncers could play 100 tests why not 1 test for Sarfraz For all the skills of Rahane against pace he had a distinctly average career. Same with KL. If he is good enough he will find a way. If there is a 5% chance that he can replicate the success at the highest level you take it. If he fails move on. This reject ion based on eye test can be misleading. Head looks all at sea against short ball..his innings at the Gabba vs SA played a major role in their win. So was Vinay kumar playing for some other Ranji trophy team in another country. He led his team to Ranji titles back to back and won all other domestic tournaments by taking most wickets and being a bowling allrounder. Sarfraz's career is not over yet, let us hope he gets to prove everyone who doubted him wrong. If not for his knees Pujara would have done lot better in his career. No one said Rahane had a great career. Edited July 10, 2023 by putrevus

deepdynamo Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 Don't think Yudhvir is 50 over type. Maybe A T20 specialist with 4 over heavy ball burst and useful cameo down the order. But its good for his development and we desperately need such multi faceted cricketers in Indian T20 setup. Fed up of all these specialists one dimensional batsman and bowlers hogging up all important spots. singhvivek141 and express bowling 2

Plus looks like a powerful hitter with strong base...Hangargekar offers similar skillset. They both can play interchangeably as a backup to each other on rotation basis... tweaker, deepdynamo and express bowling 3

Deodhar trophy will be telecasted by BCCI so we can gauge how he will go. Has a high arm action & bowls 140k+.. deepdynamo 1

vvvslaxman Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 Another express pacer Ajith Seth. 130 kph. Mayank literally walks down the wicket like this every ball deepdynamo 1
vvvslaxman Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 This is such a soft dismissal from Mayank. Over-confident
deepdynamo Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 Nagwaswalla Chintan Gaja Atit Seth Average speed 125kph and this is the final of Duleep Trophy, a premiere First class competition. Mosher and express bowling 1 1
vvvslaxman Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 In the entire west zone these are the best fast bowlers? Atit Seth, Nagaswalla, Chintan gaja? Batsmen have to get bored and get out against these guys which is pretty much what Agarwal did. deepdynamo 1
vvvslaxman Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 There is tinge of green on the pitch. The thing is these guys don't even swing that much.
