big issue with them. saw the mixed doubles in tennis which we won 6-0 6-0. even there full pants.

 

and saw badminton in cwg 2022 where we won each set - even there full pants.

uptick after 2010. we are now world 3 and won bronze in last olympics. hopefully go 1 (or 2) better in paris.

also an interesting point. we can see the divergence the two countries took - especially post 92 reforms in the attire.

 

even cricketers. pakistani cricketers are very desi. indian cricketers, even if they come from a humble background have tattoos/earrings/improved english ability a few years after coming into the scene. india is becoming more westernized.

India has good chance of finishing 4th behind china Japan korea. Iran and Uzbekistan will be competition for us for 4th spot.

aim should be to become undisputed 4th and then try to overtake korea in the next 15-20 years and then japan in the 10 years after that. similarly with cwg - become 3 and then try to overtake aus/eng by mid century.

It has more to do with PR agencies working on the athletes to coach them to become more marketable. Has more to do with that than the athletes becoming westernized IMO

naah, india has become more westernized in general. tattoos etc super common in urban india.

Very disappointing from Manu and for her as well. She was the clear leader at the end of the qualifying. Our shooters seem to need coaching with their nerves.
