Indian ladies finally score a goal .. down 2-1 vs China.

Very alarming to see how far they have slid in terms of performance since the Commonwealth games.

Goal overturned?

Down 3-0

Embarrassing performance from the ladies. Team needs to focus on basics for sure. Passing is terrible! They are lucky to get the ball from one person to the other. No attacking mentality. Horrible!

Probably a good thing the ladies have to play for a place in the Olympics now. Can sort out issues before then. Not sure how the phyisicality of this team will improve in 10 months though

True.. but also basics were poor. No attacking mindset, poor passing etc.

India is higher ranked women's team than China...china were in better form , home support and India played bad.

If you're not at the best of your form or shape for an event like the Asian games then that is concerning... We are so far above China that it is embarrassing for sure. On par with the recurve archers here.

Feels like we are hardly going to get any medals after the last few days.

Tomorrow potential medals

Archery: Optimistic here but feel that the two team events in Compound archery are golds for us. Men & Women. Gold x 2

Squash: Mixed - Silver, Singles - Gold

Wrestling:

Womens Freestyle 53kg - Antim Panghal - Silver/Bronze (She was silver medalist in the recent Asian Championships, Bronze medalist in this year's world championships and gold medalist in the U20 championships). Bronze should be a given but would be good to win Silver. Japanese lady in this category is a certain winner

Womens Freestyle 57kg - Mansi Ahlawat - Bronze (Already has a bye to the QF. Comes off some big wins in the U23 world championships where she won bronze. Also coming to a lower weight category from a higher one. Should be an advantage). Beat Anshu Malik and Sarita Mor for the qualification to the Games.

6 medals in total. Predicted tally 3G - 1S - 2B

Antim wins bronze.

If Mansi also wins her bronze match would be pretty accurate except for the squash which was swapped.. Pity Ghosal lost.
