Ashwin is a good support bowler and a good support batsman. He is not capable of winning games on his own but he is also not capable of losing games on his own. Example- Pakistan match in World T20 2022, match wasn't won by him but he ensured at the end that he doesn't throw the game away.

yes that's what I said. He's a safe option. Thakur could go either way.

I would like to Gamble instead of watching some mundane safe players, when do you get turners in world cup and that too in 2023? Probably in Chennai he can be worth a shot, apart from that we dont need him.
