Fair compensation is the issue.

How come farmers from other states don’t have to be compensated? Punjab farmers have to be compensated for produce (MSP) and stubble .

Maybe they are waiting for AK to compensate and set up those factories. Until  then Delhi can choke.

Another option is growing more Millets, they are way more healthy than Rice and are drought resistant.

Mentioned in last post that a decade back, pollution was not in public discourse.so my guess is that they started growing a particular crop of a particular varity(seed) which causes pollution only 10 years or so years back..

They all want to be compensated. If farmers get their fair share then there wont be any stubble burning.

Punjab farmers are farmers only in name. Main farmers are from other states who take the land on lease or employ from these zamindars

There are very few farms like that. Most of the small farms can't afford labor. It is a mute point Mr. agenda.

And people wanted more games in Mohali, Delhi.

Spreading misinformation again. Check the AQI of both Ahmedabad and Mohali. It is poor for both.

Get people banned so that your lies and misinformation can stay here.

Very healthy too. Depends on the food though. There are many things millets don't taste good in.

TBH i was only familiar with Ragi the most, the others are not a big staple in karnataka but that is changing with the anti-rice movement.Rice requires 3 times the water as Millets, its a no brainer for Deccan states to replace some of its rice growing area to Millets.

A decade back, they were sowing different crop and pollution was not an issue. Why don't they change the crop?

Other states' farmers don't use such blackmail.
