Forget foreign coach.  Kumble was a strong personality and we all saw how that ended.  Kohli got his way. 

 

Ideally , both Rohit and Kohli should be dropped entirely from the white ball setup in order to develop newer players. 

 

Which coach - domestic or foreign - can do that?

I seriously doubt it.  The tough decisions have to come from BCCI in order to select a younger team with a new captain..

 

No coach who lords over selection issues etc. will be entertained . 

 

Giving such leeway to coaches has always backfired.

I am curious, what are the powers of the BCCI chairperson? Who decides what? Isn’t there a board? Does he take all decisions unilaterally?  There is a President, CEO, VP, Secretary, Selectors,

If we don't get a foreign Coach, I am ok with Dravid over Laxman.  Bit disappointed that India did not look for a foreign coach to break the cycle and force players out of comfort zone.

This is the same guy in 2007 who went along with Robin Uthappa replacing Sachin as ODI opener. What a genius.
