How is Ranjis relevant for T20Is?

Rythm. So that incase he is in the team and is given the ball ( normally historically india plays safe and never gives the 6th bowler an over unless its hardik) at least he wont suddenly be in deep end. When the main bowler gets hit lets say for 18 runs for eg Prasidh the  6th bowler is given a ball to minimise damage.. even a 12 run over by the 6th bowler gets acceptable in bigger scheme of things instead of prasidh going for another 16 or 17

The lengths required for T20 is totally different.Didn't even bowl in IPL. He'll get clobbered most days

Dube was once hit for 30. Not sure he's improved very much.

So was Broad. But its not that. At least the more he bowls in competitive cricket the better he will be prepared if called to bowl. Simple. His bowling was not bad today. We need bowlers who can bat and batsmen who can bowl. Aus is a champion team as it has allrounders or batsmen who can bowl. Maxwell, Head, Green, Marsh, Stoinis. Windies has won 2 t20 wc and has odean smith, jason holder, romario shepherd, andre russell as allrounders. England has stokes Woakes curran rashid who can bat. Nz has neesham, santner, glenn Philips, rachin ravindra. Heck even saf has marco jansen and aiden markram. India has just Hardik Pandya and then 3 no 11s in kuldeep, bumrah, siraj.

That rright. We need to be near perfect every time. Cause batsmen can't bowl and bowlers can't put bat on ball

We need 2 proper ARs.

I dont freaking get it. Yea we are dominating England no doubt

But all of their freaking can bat. I don't just mean bat for like 10 runs or so. Legit 20 to 30 average in first class cricket.

Carse who doesn't have a great bowling average but he is quick and has a batting average of 31 in first class. 30 bowling average.

Matthew potts medium fast pacer, can bat too. 20 average

Then spinners Carson and the other dude can bat too.

Not to mention Matthew fisher. Decent pace 130 to 140. Decent bounce. He can bloody bat too. 17 to 20 average.

Why do our bowlers have such bad technique vs batting?

I mean it's either that or England first class cricket sucks.

They work in it ,county pitches also don't turn that much so if it flattens out it can be quite placid, whereas in India there is almost always turn on offer ,even on a green pitch and also we don't work on it.

Andrew symmonds Waa 100% right then

He said Indians have exceptional talents in the country. Cream of the crop but they are lazy. They don't work on fitness at all or work on additional duties like adding another skillset.

Broad was also never good in T20s

I understand the need for allrounders, but we need to chose from SMAT and IPL. Unless he bowls there and does well, we can't expect him to bowl well in T20Is.

Going forward I see a T20 XI like follows

Jaiswal

Venky/Abhishek

Tilak

Pant/Kishan/Jitesh

Hardik

Parag

Sundar

Harshit Rana

Bishnoi

Bumrah

Lots of allround options. Specialists have to be really good and consistent to get in.
