Not for 14 crore.  he is strong down the ground against spin and is a good puller . But it remains to be seen how he bowls.  CSK think he's peak Ben Stokes.

I think they were prepared for a massive 15 crore battle for Ravindra. They surprisingly got a steal. So they had plenty to spend.

On those dodgy Chepauk pitches...  He can very well bowl 1-2 overs easily.  CSK has always had multiple bowling options.  Thala mostly never uses them.

They need the extra pace. But the stupids at RCB did not bid for Coetzee.  Gerald is an absolute steal for Mumbai. Cummins will hurt SRH campaign big time
