Need4Speed Posted November 14, 2025 Author Posted November 14, 2025 Time to bump this thread.. now hitting UAE across all the parts..doesnt matter if he is 13 or 15 or 16.. or he was given chances..he is a special hitting talent.. Frustrated, nevada, Manucrick and 2 others 3 2
gattaca Posted November 15, 2025 Posted November 15, 2025 Sachin was youngest debut for us at 16. Suryavansi is 14. He can break but should he be selected ? Too much pressure ? He played well in Australia recently. tweaker 1

Kid looks like he can absorb the pressure. And TM/selectors should give him confidence that he has a long rope - just go berserk no matter what. And somehow shield him from social media trolls. express bowling 1

Need4Speed Posted December 12, 2025 Author Posted December 12, 2025 171 against UAE U19 ladden with many sixes
BacktoCricaddict Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Stunning knock. Here's hoping he shines in the IPL this year. What a headache it will create for senior team selectors. Need4Speed 1
BacktoCricaddict Posted February 6 Posted February 6 If this guy is the real deal (and by all accounts he is), does he *have to* open? Can he be a finisher? In any case, we need finishers who can tee off from ball 1.

Finsher needs different skills, specially mental strength, Many MO players have found success after switching to opening, but I don't see many reverse examples

With so many top-order stars who are performing (Kishan, Sharma, Varma ...), how would you accommodate this guy, esp if he is not a keeper? I think he has the mental strength.
Vk1 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 going by his exploits.. imo it is beyond any doubt that he is the most special player to have graced the game.. whether he fulfills it at the highest level ( he has to break most of the records ) remains to be seen. Hitman's most double hundred ODI record must be in his sight.

Right now I don't see a place for him tbh. Even Jaiswal is finding it tough. Once Kohli, Sharma retires, we can sneak him in with Gill at 3 I guess In T20 he can come in after SKY retires

Suggested this role as a finisher for this t20i wc, he has the game:: He can hit fullish ball straight down and he can hit ball bouncers too. He is a 6-hitter as well. But now that time is gone. The plan should now be to make him a proper batter. He should be pipelined into ind side. May be give him games after wc, But yes there is need for finishers in Odi for the upcoming wc, may be naman dhir , sharuk khan these ppl have been playing in domestic and have ipl exp. to play in mo they should be tried and can offer off-spin option if needed.
