The way he destroyed Australia in Australia and won us Test matches and a series win at the GABBA, is something that even the great SRT was not able to achieve. However, having seen the impact of serious injuries in a variety of sports, the chances of Pant resuming his career and surpassing or even equally his former ability are a long shot at best. I think he may have the good innings here and there, but I think his days of dominating like he did before in Tests are gone. Again I hope I am wrong, but I said this from the very start when he had this accident. Some morons on here thought he would be ok in a few months time, some said the 2023 WC.
