If they take black imports they will never have the batting technique to compete. Sorry. This is hackball like baseball. US would absolutely kill the competition if they ever get serious about it. Their school sporting infrastructure is already best in the world. Not to mention crazy innovation they would bring. They would study the heck of cricket first up. Baseball have average athletes. Nfl players also are notorious for poor stamina. Longer the format the poorer they will be. Shorter ones like t20 yeas they csn do really well if they heavily invest in it as much as they do for nfl NBA and mlb. Plus all that bulk won't help in cricket. Might see some explosive t20 hitters but batting will still be a weakness as they will lack technique to play on tricky pitches. Again when you say study they heck out or cricket. They don't actually get any Americans themselves who do research. Phew… Not really surprising. He grew up playing AFL as a kid, in this sport, you learn the need to consistently deliver in high pressured environments. In many ways its ingrained into Aussie kids through our educational system in a variety of ways be it sport or academically. While in India, you have Dravid promoting mediocrity and accepting India's failure at the WC and instead applauding India's performance at the WC.
