BCCI is all up in this guy's ass and promoting him so much. In fact, BCCI ruined him by over hyping him. He has some potential but think he is going the way of Unmukt Chand because of not working hard enough on his game.

Please don't insult Ananya Pandey. Vicky is like that Suraj Pancholi guy who won best debut award ahead of Vicky Kaushal for Masaan. 

 

I kid you not, Indian domestic scene must be having at least 50 red ball options better than Gill. And in T20s at least 100. Continuing to reward this kachra is the highest possible level of corruption in this country.

Gill is the face of corruption in Indian cricket. Ananya Pandey and Sooraj Pancholi's rigged Filmfare wins had more credibility than this sham of an award. On cricket merit he wouldn't find a place even in India-A. 

 

If he flukes a couple of 100s in these 10 home tests, BCCI may line him up for ICC cricketer of the year next time.
