Commentators truly don't talk about one aspect of Kohli enough.

Last 5 years ( from 2018-2023) Most catches dropped by an Indian

1) Virat Kohli 37 catches

2) Shreyas Iyer 11 catches

3) Arshdeep 9 catches

4) KL Rahul 6 catches

5) Mo Shami - 5 catches

that's because kohli doesn't like balls (i.e., catching them).

Sorry I don't have patience to  read thru your moronic analysis.

As I said in replyto your other post Kohli doesn't need any validation,he is undisputed best player of his generation.

Best player to have never won anything of note

Undisputed - in your mind .

in every format , there are 5 better players than him

tests - the English , Australian and new land batters have been awesome .
Odi - he is probably in top 5 . Even here , English and New Zealand batters and even Rohit and Dhawan are better .
t20 - he is a joke

Doesn't even have an average of 50 and somehow is the best of his generation in tests. Ridiculous.

Yeah but even likes of Chawla won 2011 WC, and DK also won CT 2013. The point is he was simply part of the team which won the tourney. He has never made the difference the way likes of Gambhir & Yuvi did in WT20 2007 and WC 2011. He has had plenty of opportunities in his prime but he hasn't lived up to expectations. It's depressing to see likes of Head having more impact than all our superstars put together - Kohli, Rohit, Jadeja etc.

Check the 2014 t20 World Cup final and 2016 t20 World Cup semis. Except kohli, kohli alone stepped up. 2014 t20 yuvraj undermined kohl's effort. 2016 t20 ashwin bowled two no balls and dismissed the West Indian batter even lewis who went on to win the match.

when gambhir contributed, others stepped up. When yuvi contributed, others stepped up. Unfortunately kohli should have won at least one t20 World Cup . 2017 CT final too , bumrahs no ball costed the dismissal of fakhar zaman who had a great day.

Did he not win 2-1 in 2018 in Australia which no other team asian team  in Aus won since 70 ? CT -2013 kohli contributed. 2011 World Cup final his 35 partnership with gambhir was crucial. we have seen what happened in 2019 with 5/3.

Their fans seriously believe he batted like Head lol

What level of delusion! :hysterical:

If Kohli ever plays a match-turning innings in a final the way Head played in WTC final or WC 2023 final, these guys would shut the country down for a week long celebration!

There is no need to justify the GOAT . He was the best option for India in last decade and he still remains the the best option for India.

Hope he gets some help from other bozos this time.

Hypothetical question.

In case if we again fail to win T20 WC.

Would you like Kohli to be part of 2026 T20 WC as well ? Or should he call the day from T20's and focus on other 2 formats.

I would like to add Rohit & Jadeja too with Kohli..they all will be 37-39 by 2026 T20 WC.

Kohli should make the way for youngsters irrespective of what happens in 2024 t20 worldcup.  ODI's, I think he has done well to give it a shot till 2027 wc

I was and am fine with all seniors being kept out this world cup itself.

Kohli and co got their chances in last decade, 2023 world cup was their final chance for hardware. It didn't happen for this bunch.

The problem I have is when people selectively assign blame on one or two players.

Kohli does not have prove anything to anyone his credentials. He is undisputed best player of his generation when you account all formats,

Has best bowler showed up in any crunch match and put the team on back and took the team over the line since 2016.

Last time I checked it is still a team game.

It is indeed a team game.

And I understand our team overall has been a failure in the knockouts.

From the perennial chokers

MSD, Bhuvi, Ashwin, KL, Rahane are not in the main team.

Jadeja, Kohli, Rohit, Pandya & Bumrah are the ones left.
