Freeloaders 2025 - India. All these players are way past their best but lingering on for sentimental values or experience quota.

CSK- Dhoni, Jadeja, Ashwin, Hooda, Shankar, Tripathi
GT: Ishant, Jayant
KKR: Pandey
MI: Rohit, Karn
SRH: Unadkat, Harshal

No wonder CSK is languishing at bottom having assembled a team of freeloaders.

MSD is not costing his franchise crores the way others are. Plus CSK overall are useless and Dhoni is just a cherry on top. Pant and Rohit are meanwhile bringing decent teams down.

LSG has won 4/6. Pant is fine captaincy wise.

Rohit should've been let go by MI. He's not a huge star compared to Dhoni or Kohli that they should be persisting with him in such form.

Gawd...KKR has both Manish Pandey and Rahul Tripathi.
They couldn't spend money on buying a fast bowler but bought 2 fossiled batters for IPL.

Next season-Don't want Dhoni, Tripathi, Pandey, Rahane, Unadkat, Harshal, Nair, Ishant, Jayant, Saini. All are [past expiry date]

 

Rohit, Jadeja, Bhuvi, Shami, Sandeep-can still be tolerable for one more season.
