We can't carry this version of Rohit Sharma to the WT20

Under Vada Pav's captaincy, we hv lost 3 out of 3 ICC tournaments so far.  This WT20, it will be his 4th ICC tournament loss.   That would equal Kohli's record of 4 out of 4 ICC losses.   Implies both are sh!t captains.

At least this time we won't go through heartbreaks for Indian team unlike the last time. We are going in with dismal expectations so even winning 2 or 3 games will suffice IMO. 

 

I'm actually quite proud of USA team selection. They went with proven talent instead of media-hype. Granted, their ceiling is low and will not make playoffs. However, at least their approach is good.

a spot in the indian T20 team. without it, he would not be selected. his recent T20I record and his T20 IPL record are both average-to-poor - there are better options, so that PR of his needs to work overtime to keep him in the squad.

He was selected because he is still the captain of India in all formats. His failures in t20 world cup are not new.

 

But many geniuses were so eager to make him the captain after 2021 .India does not like split captaincy.Who is the alternative?

since Pant was selected for this squad, he could have been captain. Or bumrah.

Some Geniuses keep talking about ICC tournament losses for both Rohit and Kohli. Dhoni got extremely lucky in in two of three wins. Ashwin and Jadeja bowled last two overs in finals that too in England.Most of those wins he was carried by other team mates.

 

Dhoni and his captaincy was prime reason for India not winning multiple t20 titles.

 

If Dhoni was any good as a teammate India would not have lost 2019 semis.

 

Under Dhoni India was not qualifying for ICC test finals too.
