The words offline and download seem to have made their way into common office parlance at atleast where I work. "Can you take this discussion offline?"(as in after this meeting is over) :-O "Can you download that information off him?" (as in get that genius to guide your sorry *****) One of my bosses loves to use the phrase "Sanity check" all the time. It's gets irritating after a point. Also, during presentations, one of them, after every sentence, utters this phrase "You know what I mean." (it's an office, not the bloody hood!) What phrases are dished out more frequently than Aggy's half volleys, in your office?

Perhaps not in the office, but I have seen this phrase used a lot RTFM for Read the ******* manual when someone asks a question without referring to the documentation first

this fellow @ my work place keeps saying "Bingo" whenever therez some success. i sometime try to act like him in front of him to make sure he realize how much pain it is to listen to his Bingoz everytime. whenever i do that, he looks at me in a strange way as if he is gonna kill me for copyacting him. and bingos continue still

work with a bunch of germans. they say, "in prinziple..." when you ask anything: "Hey Jurgen, are you going for lunch?" "In prinziple, yes" "That really wasn't a very illuminating answer, Jurgen" "Vell, perhaps you should phrase your questions more deliberately" Another guy says, "I have to admit, it's not entirely intuitive to me", when he means "i don't get it, duh". Boss also says "I encourage you to..." whenever he wants us to do something but doesn't want to make it seem like he's ordering us. As in, "In prinziple, I agree with your hand-wavy argument...but I encourage you to verk out ze hamiltonian and have it at my desk tomorrow morning".

Thankfully I work in a buzzword-free environment The worst I hear some times is along the lines of : Let's schedule a Telecon and iron out the issues

In academia, "Let's massage this integral a bit now" - implying putting it into a simpler form. "This here(pointing at the anisotropies of the Cosmic Microwave Background(CMB) is God's signature on the universe" "When gravity relents, only then can light emit", describing a Black Hole Damn got too many. PM me if you want more, but believe me they were equally boring in their own way. At work, mostly boring stuff one of which Gambit said above, "Going offline". Being one from the backwaters of India, during my second meeting I actually blurted out(used to the informal attitude of academia), "Only if this conference room had WiFi" only to be stared down.
