Trump sure has a very interesting coalition of supporters. Rfk, Tulsi, Vivek, Vance. It's clear that the trump group is coming up with fresh ideas and perspective and promise of change. Kamala represents the DEI ticket that represents the faceless establishment. 

 

Hope Kamala wins in our best interest as Indian citizen. But objectively speaking Trump team will be tough one for the the world. Think they have better idea now of what America first means.

The issue i see talking to Americans is that the despite huge pay increases they have had nobody seems to feel better off due to price rises. Most tell me that the official usa measure of inflation does not fully account for rapid rise in food (eating out or groceries) or housing.  Black and hispanics feeling the hit the most.

 

I feel the us election will be decided by turnout in this segment.

Turnout also means mail-in votes. GA was won by Dems on mail-in votes that kept coming in

Trump has gone senile.  Worse than Biden.   kamala harris is on the other hand is a disasterous candidate. He is dodging all the direct questions. it is getting annoying.  Both are possibly the worst candidates in American history.  Based on this observation i say democrats will get their clock cleaned. People care about economy more as it directly impacts their livelihood.  Neither of them have any plans.

Blunt truth. We are living in geopolitically volatile times. Iran gets attcked, oil price will spiral, inflation will be more than 3% and interest rates will be high.

 

Personally i feel people in western world expect too much from politicians. Between mnc's controlling capitalist soceties and geopolitical instability there is limited impact over a 4 year period.
