They had one gold to prop up the gold rankings. They are still #69 in ranking is number of medals. Don’t go by gold rankings. . Idiotic

Yes, they win despite their country, once the athlete is gone there is no benefit. India is slowly having processes and set up in place which will reap big rewards. But we need to get rid of political apointees and interference. As long as that is there we will never progress.

I knew we were doomed the day I saw a businessmans wife right in front of an Indian flag with all athletes behind it in all ads.

 

Imagine if Kohlis actor wife was front and center of our world cup ads with all cricketers behind. So many keeping quiet today would be having a fit.

But what good does finishing a few spots above India in this Olympics do for Pakistan in the long run? It's not like they have a long queue of future medal prospects apart from Nadeem. First medal in 32 years and who knows how many more years before another Pakistani stands on the Olympic podium.
