Ganguly - shared trophy

Dhoni - 3/10 (2 wc, 2ct, 6 t20 wc)

Rohit - 1/3 (wtc excluded)

Always found MSD a bit lucky to be honest. His good quality was to keep things calm, otherwise tactically have seen him making massive blunders like below many times

Which captain in his right mind will send Jadeja ahead of Yuvraj, Dhoni and Pathan ? Look at what Jaddu did here. This game was a virtual elimination.

So if you lookout at it closely, although Dhoni won 3 ICC tournaments, losing 7 is a lot, a bit overated. It is Rohit + Kohli tenure combined.

Definitely not overrated.

Loi icc trophies

Dhoni : 3/10

Eng : 3/30

Pak : 3/30

Sl : 3/30 ( actually 2½, 2002 ct shared with us)

Nz : 1/30

Sa : 1/30

India has a good chance to win CT & WTC under Rohit next year.

No chance in the WTC unless we get South Africa in the finals again. Even them with their scary pace attack will be tough to overcome.

Chances of choking are much less in Test cricket.

Rohit is greater than MSD and Kapil in my book. Kapil was X factor but wild card, could go either ways m. Dhoni was calm and good leader but a poor performer in IcC trophies.

Rohit is Dhoni in temperament, respect of peers and leader and Kapil in that wild card aspect.
