Still a lot of time left in the test. They can't start playing for a draw this early.

Scoring runs or not they have ensured Pakistan will have to bat for atleast 2 sessions after this one and are wasting playing time. With rain expected for the next 2 days, Pakistan batting for 2 sessions and needing another 2 sessions to dismiss BD their might not be enough time here. left for a result.

Day 4 and 5 Rains are expected where is the time for Pakistan to bat  to setup a target and dismiss BD ? If rain arrives as expected. Rain  washed out entire Day 1  in this test already, even a minor rain intervention would lead to lengthy delays considering the lack of equipment, covers available to Rawalpindi Groundstaff.
