Mayank, Harshit, Himanshu, Hangargekar all have height, good pace and bowl heavy balls. Mayank is in express category and even Australian, English batters weren't able to play him on Indian flat pattas.

I have seen all of them. No one you have mentioned has shown his ability to bowl fast  in test cricket.

India will overtake us in terms of economy for sure, the situation is not looking very good in Bangladesh. These so called students are beating up doctors ( doctors are in strike now, patients died in ICU), controlling traffic and showing gundagari everywhere. Dr. Younus seems like a soft spoken person who is just obeying orders from the students.

There will be a dip but then should rise again in 3-4 years.

 

Pak's issues are structural in nature.

BTW..that being said. I think India vs Bangladesh series isn't going to be a one way traffic.
Sure, India has upper hand, but Bangladesh can give them shocker if they're not focussed.

Assuming both Bumrah & Shami back, our bowling will have an advantage. But if one of them isn't there, then lot of variables might come into play.

Not bad seeing a potent pace attack from toygers. Not long back Otis gibson used to also say genetics doesn't allow them to bowl fast like our other padosis do.

We have a rude shock waiting for us imo if we take them lightly. None of our lot have played long form cricket for sometime and in a 2 test series chance of getting ambushed is much higher.

Then came Allan Donald the bowling coach & boy did he transformed them.  Even their U19 quicks were much superior than Indian and Pakistani ones.

Spot on, Bangladesh bowling can be good, they lack confidence ..

 

They are far better balanced bowling attack than England which played in India.

Jokes aside. This pitch is certainly not a patta. It has more grass compared to the 1st test.    Lead of 180+ should be enough, I think.
