Sindhu is more suited for longest format. He is someone who can bat at no 5/6 and can bowl some tidy overs.

 

Ramandeep is a solid power hitter, will wipe the floor with Dube any time. He can become the backup of Rinku Singh.

They arent playing Sai Kishore for some reason. Much better than Chahar

Again a slow non-t20 innings from Verma. There is no point of having a ultra-aggressive openers when no.3/4 will go run a ball most of their innings.

This way team will again be at same cross-roads that if Openers can tone down a bit and try to play longer innings or should they try to maximize the PP.

 

Last 2 matches verma made it look it that he is playing a different match all together, as if team was 25/4 and he has do a rebuild job. 

Not sure how these Ind. captains self assigns them selves as accumulators/some1 who will take least risk kind of roles to themselves. These are not even top quality sides and he is Ind capped player

May be as we have Sindhu alreasy as LA spinner and they are looking for variety with wrist spinner..however with such poor bowling by Chahar its better to give chances to Sai Kishore

Chahar is not even emerging anymore. He is 26.

Suyash Sharma the KKR leggie should have been picked. He is only 19-20* year old.

Abhishek is fairly accurate too.  Left arm spin definately works when two right handers are batting

Chahar has been around for a while got picked in WT20 2021 squad of all places.

He was not needed here unless I think he is next in line post Bishnoi.

For Leg spinning option they should have tried Zeeshan (UP)

Ind and Pak the 2 strongest side in this tournaments are sending 3 and 7 Intnl capped players then how is this emerging cup.

Think SL has only 1/2 intnl capped player , Afgn has 1 .

 

Ind should have sent high performing local league player who are not selected for Ranji sides, they could also reach to the finals of this cup.

From SL I think captain Nuwanido and Hemantha the leggie have played couple of International games.

Ramesh Mendis is a outlier.

Yes SL /Afgn they do nt have same kind of cricketing depth as Ind/Pak still they are sending intnl capped player in a development squad. 

Pak sending 7 player who are intnl capped is more than half of the team.

 

What will ind gain out of this cup .....?? not a single player

Liked afgn side their 1 LH opener look v.good and was some fast bowler bilal I think could be quickest along side ripon-bd in this tournament.
