We can play two spinners in some places, especially as we don't have good pace A/R—the problem is our TM sometimes expects too much from pacers! We've never had more than 2 good pacers ever in our lineup, especially those in form, so you should pick your best bowlers—be it Ashwin/Jadeja or Jadeja/Kuldeep. Some places, like Green Lords or Raging Joberg, we need an extra batter, so that's a completely different equation.

Virat Kohli has never played a test match against Pakistan, This will be shame, really wanted to see Peak Kohli playing Test cricket against Pakistanis.

If series continued post 2007 Ind would whitewash almost all the time except for between 2012-2016 where it would be even

Kohli will be having a similar average to Root if we have bilateral series with them. Kohli's loss of test match form was mostly due to the kind of pitches we prepared during the last 5 years.

BGT 2018-19

 

SA tour 2018. Wanderer's 4 good pacers.

 

Eng tour 2021 as well. Lord's 4 good pacers.

 

Issue is they keep getting injured so the main lineup can never play.

 

SA 2022 Siraj injured in 2nd test. SA 2024 no Shami. Would have won both series if all 3 were fit.

 

Main thing should be have a big pool of 6-7 bowlers so that injuries don't derail.
