Yeah 400 looks tough, but Root can definitely get 300-350 here. Something Kohli too should have done against RSA in Pune (2019), where he prematurely declared and India still won by an innings in 3.5 days. 

That 400 is a meaningless record which Lara batted just to get that record at the expense of team winning the match.

At least Shaheen has a few memorable spells in ICC events, Babar had that excellent 100 against NZ in 2019 WC. Kela who we all deride has a few stellar knocks in Eng/RSA and that famous 2017 BGT series, Bhuvi has the 2016 Eden test where he blew apart Kiwis. This guy Naseem is all air, no substance. 

 

Even if you account for the nature of Pak pitches, he averages in 60-70 range in SENA countries, and I don't think he even has a 3 wicket haul in those places.

Naseem's hype was all because of PCB lying about his age in that Aus tour, such bowlers are dime-a-dozen otherwise.

Just saw the scorecard. What's the point of playing on these surfaces? And if Babar and company barely average in early 40s or 30s after playing on these surfaces, it says a lot about them and how poor they are.

 

My money is on England batting once, taking a big lead, and putting pressure on Pakistan in their 2nd innings. Would be funny if Pak implode and lose the Test after posting 550 in the 1st innings
