Judiciary is independent , they choose their own judges. When TN Seshan resigned from EC and contested elections under Congress ticket in 1999, wasn't that a undermining of democratic institutions? ED/CBI was called a caged parrot during even MMS days. They have been used by politics even during Nehru/Indira days. What else is worse than Emergency? IG took over NCERT books teaching kids false history since 1967. Media was godi for Congress earlier and it might seem to be for BJP now. It will be back to COngress when RaGa becomes PM in 2029. Even now, the Editors Guild , PTI, print media, Online portals like Scroll, Wire, NewsLaundry, etc are still there giving gaalsi to BJP. Youtube journalists are dime a dozen. Media opposition is fine and dandy. Satta is with BJP, System is still with the opposition, Edited October 8, 2024 by coffee_rules singhvivek141 and diga 2

Which legislations have been passed to do so? Although, it is true that the government oversees the parliament, it is not a legislative body. It is the federal executive. BJP Legislative party or opposition tables legislations to be debated in the partlament and the legislative (LS and RS) passes the legislations based on voting. "he executive body of the country is composed of the President, Vice President, Cabinet Ministers, and other Ministers. The legislative branch comprises the House of the People (Lok Sabha) and the upper house (Rajya Sabha)." P.S: Your sig Edited October 9, 2024 by coffee_rules

And not from your western sources or western funded NGO sources that your inbred kind worships. I think judiciary, media and academic institutions have been strengthened, as a default, by chucking out liberals and leftists, since liberalism and leftism are by definition anti-nationalism in outlook, expelling them is strengthening these national instutitions. diga 1
