Jaydev Unadkat.

Left armer and can tonk it. Plus winning mentality and a team player - see below.

Win win.

He cries too much on social media.

Will keep on posting emotional tweets after every match and blackmail BCCI/Selectors.

We should focus on

Raj Bawa .. bat at 8 or 7 and be the 4th pacer in SENA.

Medium height but hit the deck semi-bouncy pacer who just scored a 140+ while batting in Ranji. He is a proper pacer

Harshit Rana .. be the 2nd pacer after Bumrah and bat at 9 or 8.

Tall, hit thd deck, bouncy pacer who can bowl at 145 k and has low bowling averages in all 3 formats in domestic cricket. Averages 40+ with the bat in FC and is a big hitter.

For near future SENA Tests .... ( life after Rohit, Kohli, Ashwin, Jaddu, Shami, Rahul )

1. Jaiswal

2.  ??

3. Musheer

4. Gill

5. Pant

6. Sarfraz / Jurel

7. Washington / Axar .. Bat, Spin

8. Bawa .. Bat, Pace

9. Harshit .. Pace, Bat

10. Mayank / Akashdeep .. can bat

11. Bumrah

.... Deep batting till 9 or 10

.... 4 pacers + 1 spinner

.... Replace Bawa with Axar / Washington in Sydney type pitches and have 3 pacers + 2 spinners combo.

....  It would be nice if 6'6" or 6'5" bouncy Gurnoor Brar can join the pace pool in SENA by continued performances in FC.

Overall good xi,couple of thoughts:

I havnet seen much of Musheer..does he have decent technique to play all around the world at number 3..esp many times he will have to play against new ball if lose first wkt early..? he does have mental strength though..same case with Sarfaraj..but he deserves a chance in Aus too..with so many runs in domestics..and now at test level..and KL failing..we will have to give him some chances..

Also, in lack of 2?? could Dhruv Jurel be come a wild card entry there..has decent back and across technique as mentioned by some poster earlier in one thread..will be interesting to see how he will take new ball challenge..It will be good to have many batters in the xi..who have good mental strength..

Not in test. Only player worth investment as a test alrounder currently is Raj Bawa.

Raj Bawa is #6 or #7 bat. He is a proper batsman.

he lacks intnl exposure and experience as of now..so initially may start lower but as his performances will show u his class..he may move up..

If he can move ball like Sanjay Bangar..he may play in E N atleast..

He first needs to at least bat like Sanjay Bangar

Seemed good enough but only time will tell.

We are obviously not expecting Nitish reddy to be a textbook allrounder. Even if he can bowl couple of tight spells with occasional wicket is handy for us.

Just imagine our batting depth if we can afford Bawa at 8, Washington at 7 and then Harshit at 9 in SENA.

problem is top 6 :phehe:

I know he may not be test class but the closest we have is Baroda's Atit Sheth. It's a travesty he didn't get a look in for any Duleep team.

Harshit should have been in the A squad. He should be in Australia and not with the T20 team in SA

Once again this series highlights the lack of pace AR, or at least a bowler who can bat

Whereas England have 5

I think his time has passed now but I do wonder why Sheth was not given more of a run for A team at least. He was a consistent all rounder in Ranji level. And from what little I know nippy medium pace swing bowler

Had one good outing Vs Bangladesh or Bangladesh A

One of those where lack of IPL profile has cost him
