So India is unbeaten at home for 12 years since England beaten us in 2012. However, Kiwis looks to be in hot seat to break that streak.

 

If this happens, it will be a blackmark in the name of Rohit and Gambhir.

If any team deserved to win a series in India post 2013, it was 2017 Aus. Rest don't come close.

I wish we could match that record but our run was great while it lasted.

Came across this article from earlier this year makes good point especially in hindsight 

 

Pitches like this make average spinners look great and out bats are **** against spin 

 

And it makes our good spinners less of a factor 

 

If there is any crumb of comfort it is that it's against NZ and not England or Aus
