DSP Siraj's all round ability on the field are: 1) Bowl wicketless/Match losing spells in every test  2) Start sledging the in-form opponent batters when Ind are in losing position 3) Come out to the crease as nightwatchman only to get 1st ball duck 4) While getting dismissed, he also ensures that he takes away one review with him 5) Rinse & Repeat the above activities till every Ind fan stops following cricket altogether.

I still don't understand how dumb our kaptaan & TM can get.  On a spinning track they left out Axar for Siraj (who has been wicketless in entire series). Yes, Axar's bowling has regressed a lot recently.  But he is still our best batsman (after pant and jaiswal).  Atleast our batting lineup would hv become solid.  On the other hand, with Siraj, this is what we hv got:  0 with the bat, 0 wicket with the ball.  1 Review wasted.  1 batting slot wasted.  To top it all, he is the most Useless/Lethargic fielder Ind has ever produced.

Yes. Only guy who rival Rohit for the title most useless player of the series is Siraj.

Even RCB has given up on liability that is Siraj but Kohli probably loves him so he's still there in the Indian team to entertain the "King". Rohit and Kohli have added all these non-performers so they don't look too bad.

 

Axar and Harshit woul dbe better options in place of Siraj, and even Kohli. But they don't have the so called "experience"

There is absolutely no reason to blame Kohli here on hypothetical things, its the responsibility of Captain and Coach Gambhir, pls dont invent theories, Kohli can and should only be blamed for batting, that is it.

Don't act like @putrevus now. Kohli deserves the criticism for his performances. We've seen bowlers blamed in the past, and now it's captain and the coach's fault. Is Kohli ever at fault or is it the whole world conspiring to bring Kohli down? Will Kohli ever be held accountable for his performances, or lack thereof?

For his own performances he should be dropped but he is not responsible for selection of Siraj here, that is responsibility of Rohit and Gambhir.

Ah ok. Misunderstood you. I thought you were implying Kohli can't be held responsible for his performances as it's up to captain and coach to select him.

 

Agreed that Kohli is not responsible for Siraj, and blame fatso Rohit and Gambhir for playing Siraj ahead of Harshit or Axar.

Few things - on domestic pitches , siraj is useless . 
 

Our selectors err on right kind of bowlers . 
Gutka kumar is bette mr than siraj imo on indian pitches . At least he is honest .
