Look what's happened to Ishan Kishan and even Prithvi Shaw. One of the reasons for their performances and almost rebelling against the system is that they've been sidelined despite performances whereas someone like KL Rahul gets in without any reason. Plus you have Rohit anointed captain forever and Kohli can't be dropped. So that doesn't leave any spots at all in the team based on performances. Jurel was the star in the Eng series and yet that panauti KL Rahul walked in to the team when Jurel deserved the spot.

Bingo. So many biased selection has never allowed us to handle transition smoothly. We are at a point where we will see a mass exit and youngsters with 1 or 2 test experience playing at the same time. Infact they will still be likely to do better than these seniors.

Yup, that's correct.  Same with Rohit. They don't play domestic matches, they don't play practice matches and put pressure on the board to cancel tour games as well. All they do is some nets practice or a made up inter-squad game. That's about it.

 

Kohli has sucked balls over the last 5 years and statistically has been the worst top order batsman across every country and he still didn't play any domestic cricket. All that "passion" is fake coz if you've passion you want to improve, you take pride in your performances, and leave no stone unturned to get out the slump. When you can't even be bothered to play even warm ups or any domestic cricket, including Duleep Trophy which was scheduled as a prep for Test series this season, it proves you don't give a shyte. Never seen such a shameless leech.

I know the internet is out for Kohli s blood right now but if you carefully process the events of Wankhede , you will have nothing but respect for Kohli. Matt Henry Grew up in NZ which is a clean country with pure environment and thus he has fully functioning lungs. Kohli grew up in Delhi and Delhi pollution has already damaged his lungs . The ball was hit at 19.9 m/s and Henry was only 30m away from ball. It's scientifically impossible for Kohli to complete the run. But still he challenged Henry for the run because that's what he has always done. Challenge the best and come out at top. Only today the selfish nature of Bombay lobby ground deserted him and he was left alone fighting against NZ, BOMBAY LOBBY & THIRD UMPIRE . That run out will sting but the unselfish nature Kohli showed for his team today has strengthened my support for him and he has only come out bigger in today's battle despite losing his wicket
