Popular Post Ultimate_Game Posted November 3, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 3, 2024 (edited) Please enlighten us how the bowlers and newbies let down the "King", and how if "King" Kohli had gotten the support, India would've swept NZ 3-0 After all you were the one to take shots at Abhishek and newcomers who failed on their debut match in Zim. Surely you'll have something to say about 5 years of "no show" from the "King" when you couldn't tolerate one bad game from debutants Edited November 4, 2024 by Ultimate_Game Chaos, Throwaib_Chuckter, Norman and 10 others 13
Ultimate_Game Posted November 3, 2024 Author Posted November 3, 2024 Stat of the series for me: 174 runs - contribution of "Hitman" Rohit and "King" Kohli combined for the entire series. What a way to showcase their "experience" Chaos 1
Adamant Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 Responsibility of selectors now to drop them, they look done and dusted. Passion and hunger is also not there. Ultimate_Game, New guy and The Hound 3
singhvivek141 Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 Practice game is also cancelled apparently. Rohit and Kohli may not need it as they are "legends"...but some of the players are travelling for the very first time in Aus. Straight away in Perth can be a catastrophe for them. express bowling 1

What a way to showcase their "experience" That's 29 runs per innings for the 2 of them. 14 runs each. lol. We are 29/2 every innings. Add Sarfru 0 (Except that 1 innings). So 29/3. Add Gill 25-30. That's 60/4. 60/4 every innings. Add to that no contribution from Ashwin and 2 pacers. So that's 70/7. Rest is Jaiswal, Pant, a bit of Jaddu & Sundar. 70/7 every damn innings. Mark this down. Look how batsmen chased this down Haven't seen that fanboy @putrevus bag Indian bowlers and newbies yet. Obviously bowlers are at fault as giving the Indian batters a target of 140 odd is unacceptable! If bowlers had done their job they wouldn't have had to chase more than 50 Chaos 1

If they play the practice game, they'll be overshadowed by likes of Sai Sudarshan, Paddikal, Jurel etc. So they took the easy option of canceling the match. Ifthey can have their say they would cancel the whole Aus series altogether and fast forward to IPL. Sgattick10, singhvivek141 and Chaos 1 2

Indian fortunes have depended on Pant, Jaiswal and lower order. Take out these two, you struggle to find anyone who shows up. "King" Kohli and "Hitman" Rohit have shown they can't even handle pressure in a mickey mouse league like IPL, so expecting them to perform in intls is asking for the moon. Pity selectors don't have the balls to do the right thing and BCCI is run by nepo-baby like Jay Shah. That's why India will always underachieve in cricket as teams like Aus wouldn't have tolerated these performances without any repercussions. Shows you why one team wins tourneys while the other is reduced to making excuses like "30 bad mins", "one poor match", "one off game", "kabhi toh yeh chalta hai" etc. New guy 1

This is as much on selectors and team management as it's on the players.

Celebrating, worshipping and putting these clowns in the name of "king" on pedastals and depriving the next lot of its opportunities, which is all organic/law of nature calls for humiliation Apt treatment by mid tier side NZ that too at home Our shuppastars won't be even able to whitewash Zimbabwe, but allowed NZ of all SENA sides to shytewash them in front of their own people Ultimate_Game 1

They were persisted with when they struggled in their initial years. And now when the shoe's on the other foot, they're denying the current gen players like Rinku, Sai, Jurel, Padikkal, Sarfaraz etc. opportunities which they themselves received. Height of selfishness and shows their true selfish nature. BacktoCricaddict 1

Rarely do we see someone debut at age 26 and shine for 8-10 years. I am not sure why this is, but my sense is that our players get cooked in the domestic set up and get jaded pretty quickly once they hit 30.
