I’m surprised the markets did not drop much despite this clown promising 100% chips tax. I guess they (tech companies) see what’s going on with Apple as a possible way out. Basically just promise to invest some x amount over y number of years and get the tarrifs situation somewhat sorted for yourself. Also

Apple ain’t affected by India tariffs I heard? Have to read more on that.

 

 

Now the next trigger is penalty tariff for China for Russian oil purchases. He’s set a precedent with India so let’s see if he actually does that to China. China’s a much much more important trading partner to the US compared to India. Markets completely ignored the India tariff situation in the US. Also this guy had set ceasefire deadline of 8th August to Russia. He’s already backtracking on that as now he says he going to talk to Putin lol. 

 

The bullish forces r so much that the nasdaq recovered a 15 point drop in 2 days lol despite no real good news catalyst. Just that rate cut looks more certain now.

 

I guess everyone is geared towards the rate cut. The triggers are now more the traditional ones now such as earnings and inflation and economy. I want some drop to happen lol to renter more long. But probably good to have some medium term options position regardless.

Yes I know that but I thought the markets will take a signal out of it from the India situation (additional penalty for Russian purchases).
