Why didn't they think of promoting Jaddu. Among all the guys he is less of a stroke player. He relies on tapping the ball here and there and running. If he had survived 10 overs all the other flashy guys could have capitalized on it.

This is the nature of NZ pitches right.. it  always flattens out after day 3. Neil

England selectors definitely have good eye testing skills. This Bethell has hardly played any first class. He has never batted in the top order at any level. Only guy who called him a generational talent was Ashwin. Infact even Vaughan and Gilly made fun of Ashwin for calling Bethell a generational talent in their podcast. Here we are.
