Forget stats for a minute. In this WTC era of spicy pitches and low scores, Bavuma is one of the best batsmen to have out there in the middle. He averaged 55+ in last WTC cycle and RSA laid out some nasty minefields. Showed up in both innings of WTC final. 

 

Even in last year's Kolkata test, his 55 eclipses many visiting 100s and 200s. We took a crucial lead of 30 after our 1st innings there, and then reduced them to 40/4, 60/5, 70/6, 80/7....a win from that position speaks volumes about Bavuma's impact. His captaincy was also awesome.

 

Backing him to lead RSA to their 2nd consecutive WTC win, which will cement his legacy as a modern era great.
