Good XI but Pant at 4 is too high for a keeper. In the last test he was out there batting within less than an hour after keeping for 120 overs. He needs to bat number 7 and the so called batsmen have to step up higher in the order.

It's fans like these we're in the position we are in with non-performers undroppable from the team. BCCI knows that majority of the fans are like this idiot putrevus. It's been an issue at home as well for a long time. We were saved countless times thanks to Jadeja, Ashwin, Axar, Sundar, Pant or youngsters like Jurel.

yeah, there were so many series that could have easily turned into losses if not for lower middle order batting. The 2022 BGT, the 2023 Eng series could have gone the other way.

Nearly every home series was won thanks to our bowling or lower order with help from Pant. Our specialist batters have been MIA for a long time now.
