Atleast rohit was not out of form he performed till bd series  his last 3 year performance was only send to jaiswal in test. Earlier you have rohit performing at top order but now he came to same level as kohli. Gambhir request was rejected by rohit is all over the place in media.what do you mean foot down… Everyone needs money especially the support staff i asked you this question several time what is aggy doing ,selecting non performers series after series inspite of Gambhir’s request. Just like our gullible cheerleader commentrator you are shooting/criticising wrong person. I bet if chokli, fatty from playing xi   will be dropped , we will perform much better than what we are doing now.

Both Agarkar and Rohit should go. But that doesn't make GG a sainf. He's as much responsible for enabling this mess.

Its clear since long Gambhir is not on the same page with rohit and kohli…. There is always an animosity against kohli also he hates superstars culture. But if you expect him to give outrightly outrageous comments that he will drop rohit and kohli thats not gonna work…. As they shouldn’t have been picked at first place , Rohit took Jurel position in the squad and Gill took padikal position. You cant drop Gill when he had a graet series against eng and to an extent good against nz. Harshit was dropped rightly after second test , we should have played with 4 fast bowlers but to hide incompetence of batting we kept playing 2 spin ar. You cant blame him for kind of resources he was catered with. Lets talk about his coaching once these 2 imbecile gone and aggy picks team on merit.

Rohit took Jurel position vs NZ? It was KL who walked back in.

 

Yeah dropping a youngster after one bad game is a great move when he helped us in Perth. It was Akashdeep who replaced him not some spinner. We played two spinners only in last 2 Tests. 

 

Gambhir was appointed mainly for transition itself. If hes just gonna wait for these two to retire, we are gonna continue losing.

Gambhir is part of that selection you are talking about. He cant remove RoKo (doubtful) but atleast can select better team combination. What else is he there for?Why didn't he select 4 pacers even when Rohit was not there? 

 

Gambhir is the only turning point where we started losing so badly. Agarkar and RoKo were there earlier too but we were never this bad. GG has been a disaster but apparently he cant do anything lol

The NZ series was a done deal once we started going with turners! Do you remember our losses since the 2012 Eng series till the NZ one? We lost three games on turners, one on a flat deck, & the first NZ loss was on a seaming deck. Even in the 2012 Eng loss, the first one came on a turner at Mumbai; we could've easily chosen to make it flat like Ahmedabad, but no Dhongi was being oversmart like usual. Our strength for 70-80 years at home is our batting, not spin!

We were not doing any better under Dravid in tests. We were just getting saved by lower order or Pant here and there. That stopped happening and we were exposed.

The biggest reason is the nonexistent middle order; before 2020/21, Pujara/Rahane were good to great in most series at home. At least Pujara was ATG level, and Rahane was also serviceable. Then BRat lost the Chennai test vs. English and went apeshite on making turners almost nonstop for the next 2-4 years  

 

No youngster will make/score big consistently in the middle/lower order if the pitches are this bad. So we need to change the pitches first!

Pitches are fine if Pant, Jadeja,Axar, Ashwin can score. They are not even specialist bats. Main reasons is carrying deadwood and T20 stars
