Every-time nz batted 1st they got 200+ and apart from 1 game pak team failed to get to upto 140.

Nz bowlers had 1 simple plan bowl bouncers and keep it outside off, not a single cut-shot (or hardly any) in 5 matches by pak batters.

Pakistan don't have any quality batters except for Babar & Rizwan, the sooner they accept the better it will be for their cricket.

All this Saim, Haris are just brainless hacks who will score few shots here and there by luck, in reality they are even worse than Manish Pandey, Ruturaj Gaekwad or Prabhsimran Singh.

Pakistan simply wasted good batters like Haris Sohail, Fawad Alam, Umar Amin etc coz they wanted to play six hitters. Even now likes of Saud & Salma Agha are decent batters.

Their bowling too have potential, just need to flush out Trundler Afridi & that Tapiya.

Jahandad seems promising, Naseem is good at well within his limitations. They have another bowler who is cross-eyed (can't remember his name). They have chosen to bet on the wrong horses coz they like the players who do "show off" instead of being performers.

How exactly is rizwan "quality"? He is a leg side hack who stat pads.

And Naseem? Really? He averages 35 in tests and T20s which is among the worst figures among bowlers of ANY country since his debut. In ODIs he has a couple of good series on shady pitches but has been averaging 39 last 2 years.

Afridi is 10 times the bowlers he is and has some good spells in his career. Afridi averages 28 in tests, 24 in ODI and 22 in T20s.

I can understand Pak fans falling for the fake Naseem hype but why do some Indians hype this below average bowler so much?

I am not hyping them, I am just saying they are one of the best talent available in Pakistan now...no matter how much they struggle in terms of their competition with other teams.

Shaheen is a one trick pony, 3 overs done and he will be a useless piece of log on the ground. Naseem when fit, atleast attempts to get something off the pitch. Shaheen just surrenders and goes through motions.

Saim is anything but a hack.

He is not a hack. But not a power hitter. He holed out in square leg quiet a few times in T20 internationals. Probably better than other pak batsmen. But compared to other international players like Seifert, Finn Allen he is barely okay

I dont care as long as he can be good for us in Test and ODIs.

This particular t20 series is not a good measure of the talent in pak cric. system, this is a v.poorly selected team. Most of these guys does ot even have 50 in t20s, hardly played any kind of proper cricket, they are just picked on 1-2 knock is some kind of local/domestic match.

Nz has been beating pak for some time now in bi-laterals. when nz toured pak jst before t20i wc nz drew the t20i series with an experimental side vs full strength pak team.

And when last time Pak toured Nz the it was same 4-1 (NZ)

Pak has been poor in white-ball (t20is)since shaheen went off the wheels, their batting was not doing much either they were putting a below par score which Pak bowling was defending till shaheen had pace (note those oppositions were not full strength sides) or pak bowling was stopping the opposition to an achievable target.

Fawad only retuned in red-ball format there was no dropping him for six hitter, Amin was not given any kind of chance in odis or t20is and what ever he played he has below 20 avg. Sohail had med. issue.

Pak dropped  Azar Ali from tests because babar was to be made the captain and play at #3, Ali was the captain and #3 for pak at that time.

All the pak bowler have been leaking runs since the asia cup and are down on pace, rauf had good tour of Aus and Nz, shaheen was good in SA that it, apart from those tours they have been leaving runs.

For six-hitter/sloggers it was/is due to babar and rizwan (in t20s)eating-up the balls at the top, playing at their own pace and leaving v.few balls for the rest where they have to slog or try hitting 4/6 from the ball 1, others never got to learn how to construct the innings, if one of them get out the other batter has to do the hitting.

Haider ali was a decent batter with some technique (played u19s) but had to change the game as he was asked to get runs at higher rates to reduce the pressure from babar or rizwan.

A lot has been changed for babar and rizwan by pcb, they laid flatest wkts so that babar can score runs on the cost of losing the test series.

Pcb chair (raza) said this was done so that babar can score runs or something on similar lines.

Not coming out to bat in super over against an associate side only in the tournament as they co-hosted it, do not think any other openers would have not come specially  when they had to send sadab.

These days you donot need copy-book batter you need ppl who can score at a v.high sr. Have shots so that they can get multiple boundaries (4/6) per over.

They tried to copy Indian approach except none of their batsmen are remotely close to Indian counter parts.  Look at their records, ceiling. Very poor records. Very low ceiling.

The diff. is Ind is not picking a player on 1-2 good games in some local/domestic cup.

Ind players have been in the system , playing domestics for years and been there in IPL for multiple seasons and have good/decent domestic records.

What pak selectors picked were bunch of batter with 1-2 good outing in some local/domestic game. And sent then to Nz where even the stablished intnl batter would struggle. May be a good measure be against Bd team in home conditions. Bd have good fast bowling now with Rana, tanzim and taskin and Bd spinners can be v.effective if there is spin on offer (do not think that will happen)
