Would you pick any of these guys if they were Indian? :giggle:

How about you @Lone Wolf

Lets say saim is the best amongst the listed

T20 --No, do not think he/some1 similar will be picked in any of Ind, Aus, Eng,SA,NZ side.

ODIs -- He will be fringe player.

Test--No, he avgs. 29 right now

Saim's best format is odis, but Ind right now can not get Jaiswal in ODis.

Abdulla has been poor in all away tours.

Haris does not look intnl quality but Ind wkt-keeper batter too are not that good in white-ball cricket.

a Haris type player if he was Indian domestic player will have decent  shot at IPL. A domestic keeper who can slog effectively once in a while will be picked by some team or the other.

as an overseas player he will not be picked even if IPL adds 8 more teams, remove max overseas player rule and allow Pak players.

Suyash- eye test C

Rasikh- eye test A minus

Suyash has been bumped up to B +. Great progress on the eye test scale

Rasikh has gone a step below to B as he looks a little off color.

What about Mumbai talents loaned to lesser franchises:

Ayush Mhatre & Angriksh Raghuvanshi?

Raguvanshi I jumped on the bandwagon after he played his first 2 balls in IPl :giggle: some Players pierce the eye test.

These type of players have a pretty short shelf life as well. Remember Paul Valthatty. He had a very successful season and still disappeared after failing in the next two. Difference between Pak and India is that in India if someone doesn't perform they get sidelined as the next kid on th eblock is given a chance. With TNPL, DPL, SMA and so many other domestic T20 tourneys there's no dearth of talented youngsters.

At the end of the day you have to perform and have an impact. With continuous failures you won't be backed. Someone like Prithvi Shaw can't find a spot in iPL and he's many times better than that hack Harris.

abhishek sharma opened a new dimension where a uncapped ind opener was out performing others in pp and setting up matches for their team.

now every1 wants abhiskek sharma or version of him in their side -- arya, prab are example of those. its similar how umran ushered the line of high pace ind bowler coming straight from ipl teams net-bowlers line-up- mayak, avinash, rana, etc...

Naman Dhir better version of Agha Salman has to be in the list.  I rate hin higher than Rasheed Shubham Dubey Porel  types.

Think he is underperforming for the chances he is getting and the kind of shots he has, he can hit 4/6 on drives and pull but still not any high impact innings

MI is playing him way too down the order.  He is better T20 hitter than Tilak Varma.  Waste of potential.

Only time he batted at 3 he looked best MI batter in the side.

Tilak struggles against slow low surfaces that is a given ,it is tough to force through

Don't think Naman is any better  either

Unless I see Mi actually pushing him to bat at top 4 it is hard to judge.

As of now they are expecting him to do Pollard's job at no 7.   He is Still doing fine btw.

Scored 38 off 20 last game.

Think dhir has played up the order too, plays some good shots and then does not take innings forward. nothing note-worthy.

Same thing for ankrish (kkr) plays some good shots but does not play a match defining innings.

Naman has played up the order too, when sky was no there think previous season he played up and this season too think he played up the order.

When you have 3 Ind captain in the side you take what ever position you get and try to create full impact there.

raghuvanshi plays some good looking shots but nothing that wins the team the game.

He plays at #4 v.impt position need to play some big innings not saying 100 bt quick 65-75 where you set-up match for the team.

Mhatre is still to make debut, donot think at this stage he would have shots or power to play IPL not easy for U-19 player to perform in IPL. Game is not that developed be it power or field manipulation.
