Pant I feel sometimes tries out of the box stuff just to prove a point. Not bowling Shardul was a brain fade moment. Even the field positioning for Mohit in the last over wasn't great allowing for a single.

RUturaj is a seasoned domestic captain. Patidar has not much experience if i am right. But of all the people Iyer is the most independent. Ramandeep in one of the interview said Shreyas iyer quiet frequently will just ignore Team management decisions and take his own decisions. maniac 1

Still, he will get few more matches this IPL and next SMA T20 2026 will let him display his skills as he may now actually get a chance there. MI sent him to SA T20 as net bowler for MI Capetown. So MI thinktank is serious about him. Surely he will stay with MI in near future.
