Have joined in late, and can't go through the whole thread. I am sure someone would have spoken about the bowling. All the 4 Indian pacers ( pacers????), they were trundling at 127-130k's. They took their time to pose any danger to the county players. 

Sure, this is England. Sure, you need to swing the ball. But nowhere is it written in any handbook that you must not have an enforcer in the bowling attack. The bowlers looked club level, bowling at that military medium pace. 

Even if 1 bowler had bowled in excess of 140k's, the batsmen would have been found wanting and gasping for breath! 

 

The bowlers and the team management should be handed over vanilla icecream softies. Because the bowling IS so VANILLA!!!

Damn Reddy garu bowled when partnership was looking good.

Little bit their effort. Anshul bowls a touch short of English length.  Thakur looks a shadow of Thakur we saw few years back. Ball would come swinging from the hand. Khaleel is the one who could swing a bit. I don't think these bowlers find a line and lengtha nd stick to it. India needs a bowling coach to have them bowl at right length here. Hope Bumrah guides them.

Length is something these guys have to work on. Ideally guys like Bhuvi, Chahar would swing more than these guys. Vaibhav probably would swing as well.

Reddy has some potential . He brings the ball back both ways. Once again he is guilty of a touch short. WIth precise field set Reddy can create opportunities.

KOtian has a strong action as well. But needs more time to develop.

NKR's problem is lack of consistency. HE bowls a good ball. Then he doesn't do it again until for a few balls. Consistent landing is what separates from Great bowler and average bowler at this level.You instantly release the pressure from batsman when you bowl filth after a good ball. India needs a strong fast bowling coach separtely. THey have a bowling coach who is supposed to work with both pacers and spinners. But we need a dedicated fast bowling coach.

Pitch is benign even though it looks green. Especially spinners get nothing out of it. I feel for the guy who is doing commentary lol

Commentators call Indian bowling high quality seam bowling lol. Did i miss anything. May be they bowled well and got unlucky or had poor field sets?

WIll India declare at all? 58 overs left. THey should have  a shy at them. They should play aggressively. Mind set has to be there to win.

I watched the match for 5 minutes. It became an intolerable watch. Boring.  Mediocre bowling from English lions. Our tailenders playing with ridiculous ease.

Kid needs to play U19 cricket firstly.

They dropped Sarfaraz to slot this guy in. And he's out cheaply again.

Only good to have come out of these 2 matches is KL's batting. Let's see if he actually does something when the Test Series starts
